Temporary tire carrier
Paying the price of going cheap and getting steel wheels. First the dealer knocked off and lost one of my tail gate bump stops. The remaining on doesn't touch. I heard the tailgate moaning in pain with slight bumps on the road. So, a $9 cable lock from Walmart and the tire in the cargo area is a temporary fix until I can get a Tera Flex carrier. I tried standing it up but the tire is too big.

I don't understand what getting steel wheels and the dealership losing a bump stop have to do with one another.
You can get longer bump stops or make homemade ones with rubber hose.
What size tire are you running? I know 35" tires will stand up in the back. I haven't tried a 37" but I think it would stand up behind the rear roll bar.
