Thumbs up Tailgate Tool Mount

Finally got around to copying Dubya's tailgate tool mount. The only thing I did different was add a little sledge. In case I need to pound some rock into submission, I got one with a pointy end. I love it. Thank you Dubya!

I picked up that same ax for mine! Adding a BFH isn't a bad idea either. I'm going to add a cable lock on my ax/shovel/BFH. Hmmm just got a wicked idea, thanks for the inspiration.

BTW: for added strength, I dropped a backer block and secured the ax to it, rather than sheet metal on the handle side.

Looks good ! Cable lock might add some security for open top parking.

Looks sharp! I have all of the parts but haven't drilled my tailgate yet. I am still debating the MPAC rack or not.
