Switched to hardtop and went Custom
Just Curious what the average JK owner thinks about my idea to sand off the pebble finish on my hardtop and painting it rescue green to match the jeep. I like it,, but thats all that matters huh!
Next weekend im drivin 5 hrs to have this guy in Willmington NC construct a polished aluminum tubular rack that will serve to purposes,,, i will be able to take off the front panels of the hardtop and secure them to the rack, plus carry my 1957 Old Town Wooden Canoe.

I think it looks great, but dont plann to go in the wood with it like that. I know how scratches my top is and would hate to have those scrathes go onto a painted top.
Very sharp though!

Looks good, looks expensive. I'm usually not a fan of an all-painted exterior but this looks pretty damn good. Good job!! And please do get that Jeep dirty a bit!!!

If you feel like driving on the beach let me know. I'm in Jacksonville and Wilmington is 45 minutes away. The beach you can drive on is halfway between here and Wilmington.
