My buddy and I came up with this idea, I wanted to use that small pocket behind the shifter to houseswitches.
The rubber pocket insert was used, a fiberglass mold was made to build up the space in the pocket and an aluminum cover plate was placed on top of the fiberglass mold.
I used a textured black paint to paint the metal cover to match the dash. Turned out great! gonna use these to activate my lockers.
