Default Sweet Gun Magnet
I ran across this cool gun magnet by Cojo Manufacturing called Command & Conquer. It's different from most other gun magnets I've seen, as you can pivot the gun at just about any angle you like for quick access. I mounted it under the steering wheel on the lower dash panel with two screws. It works great. Cost me about $30 at my local gun shop. You can also find it on Amazon. Cool but wouldn't fly in my state. In the vehicle (and not on person) has to be encased in an enclosed case or snapped holster.

The only reservation I would have is in the event of an accident, having a pistol with one in the chute flying around inside the vehicle. I've been in rear ended by a car traveling at high speed and believe me, things will fly that you never thought would.
