Won't the bows from the top, when folded down, be in the way of mounting them on the wells?

thats what i did with mine, the one on the left now has my VIAIR compressor in it with the tank bolted to the bottom

I run the hardtop so it's empty space there; you're right about it getting in the way of the softop bows though.

Nice work, I just recently removed the small rear seat behind driver and have plans to bolt a bigger surplus shipping container to the floor with a compressor and battery pack inside and also relocating the annoyingly places sub into there as well
