Some do, some don't, depends on the wheel. Some people will file down the caliper a little to make then fit.

No I didnt get a new driveshaft.
Yea that was my last vehicle, 2002 Xterra, had 33's on it, and lifted 5". It is currently FOR SALE!

Congrats! With so many options, it can be overwhelming. Good choice on lift and rubber. I have had many tires, from cheapies to Mickey's and BFG has been my favorite look, wear, and ride. The mud terrains are very reasonable for on-road and perform great off road. Best tire for the money!
