Currently on my 3rd tank of gas, and decided to pump 93 this time and run that tune.

Played with the mileage mentor and the data logger which I must say I absolutely love!!!

This morning I ripped off the following:

Keep in mind my mods....Rubi Unlim 2008, 6spd, 4.10 gears, vivid 93 tune, K&N drop in, AEV heavy bumpers and Warn winch =~400lbs, 35 nitto trail graps on heavy SRT8 wheels with full spare......see sig...

0-60
T1.) 9.5 secs - ESP off,Great launch, actually spun hooked well, shifted just below redline, slight down hill so somewhat opptomistic.
T2.) 10.9 secs - ESP?? Horrid launch, bogged bad but spooled up decent, shifted at redline, level grade. (room for improvement with better launch).
More times to come as I work on my launch...

and tonight after work:
T3.) 10.8
T4.) 9.4
T5.) 10.5
T6.) 9.3
T7.) 10.4

I'm very pleased so far considering I could stand to perfect my testing a bit and that my JK is very heavily outfitted with gear and rolling on 35's and the stock 4.10 gears....see below

stock rubi unlimited seems to be anywhere from 10 to 11.5

Seems the vivid put me back to stock out of the box times....very good IMO considering the lift and going up to 35's

I'm looking at getting a vivid. Would you recommend it to a novice? I want the change in shift points and some mileage/power help for a unlimited auto with 35s.
I don't want to get "too deep" in a tuner and mess something up.

hell yes sheepdog!

Its the perfect plug and play device. The superchips tunes are proven to make power over the stock crap fuel tunes. Anyone that can use a smartphone can use this thing, which is why the linq and app which will come later is well anticipated. Me I didn't want to wait for the app for my android phone and wanted to have the archos internet tablet as the exclusive jeep device running the vivid app.

This is perfect for the jeep person just getting started with mods.

Go for it, let me know if you have any other questions. No affiliation by the way, although I might be able to help you scout out a good deal on one.
