Topless is great but sometimes the front panels on is also nice. The first time I put them on without the back I didn't know about the flip down spacers in the back. I like the front panels on sometimes with everything else off. On this trip I took the doors with me. We didn't know how cold it would be coming back late at night. We took a bicycle cable lock and locked the doors to a tree while we were on the trails. This worked great for us.
