Default The start of my home brew front bumper

For the past year I have been running the Olympic Cobra bumper, I never really liked it and it was finally time to do something different.

So I got together with my brother and created a plan of attack. Using the LOD full size as a general idea for the basic design, and some 3/16 steel we started today.

Front plate mock up

Driver side end cap coming together

End caps

Placement for my new Superwinch, the winch plate is made from 5/16 steel. (Sorry for the dark pic, it was overcast today, plus we were in the garage)

As she sits right now, everything is tacted together and I am going to pull it off for the next few days and do the finish welding and grinding, then a few touch ups (braces for stinger, etc..)

And of course I lit my pants on fire with the plasma cutter.

Big props to my brother landc2 for helping (i.e doing most of the work while I tried not to screw anything up to bad)

Looks good, get that baby finished and painted up and everyone will think you have a 600 dollar bumper!
