Stage 1 done- Rock Krawler 5.5, 38x15.5's....
The build- 2013 Rubi Auto
Rock Crawler X Factor Mid Arm 5.5 with Fox Resi Shocks
Bilstein Dual Stabilizers
20x12 Fuel Hostage with 38x15.5x20 Mickey MTZ
Smitty Side Armor
G2 5:13 Gears
J.E. Reel driveshaft's
JW Speaker Headlights
Vision X Rock Lights
AEV Procal
The small stuff-
Knuckles off road backing plate with Rotopax Cans/Locks (2 more on the way)
Rhino Lined Grill
Clear markers
Locking Hood latches/Gas cap/Tuffy Drawer
Poly steel grab handles (4)
Synergy gussets
On the way- Artec Truss, Synergy Ball Joints, Poison Spyder Diff covers, RSE front bumper, 50" LED windshield, 20" LED bumper bar...
My impressions of the suspension-
I'm surprised but the ride is very stiff. I don't know if its because the lift is so tall I really need a long arms to smooth it out, or its the Fox Shocks (I have seen some posts that say they ride stiff). You really can feel every single bump in the road. I went with the MTZ's over the Toyo's because it is a load D tire, I was hoping that would help a little (I am running them at 27 PSI right now). It is a Jeep so I'm not terribly Butthurt over the ride, but it is annoying enough that I will eventually do the Long Arm OR King Adjustable shocks. I am also comparing the ride to my 2012 rubi with the AEV 4.5 and 38x15.5 Nitto Muds, that set up did ride noticeably smoother.
When you go over undulations or a rough road you better have two hands on the wheel (Well, its not that bad) these wide ass tires track everything. My only other complaint is that I am getting a lot of rubbing over large bumps from the rear tire. Since the Rock Krawler moves the axle back one inch as to not rub the stock Rubi rails, it puts these big ass tires very close to the rear bumper causing rubbing. It looks like I'll have to get a rear bumper sooner than I wanted. When people say that Rock Krawler's stuff is beefy they aren't kidding. Dorian Yates would do curls with these Arms. Over all I am happy with the set up. After I get done with the bumpers and lighting I will address the ride.
Gears-
I am WAY happy with he 5:13's. I am breaking them in but just driving normal its much better. I almost wish I went with 5:38's. I see people saying that 5:13's are way too much, not in my opinion. I briefly got up to 70 mph and was right at 3000 rpms. I compared my Speedo to a GPS app and its dead on. I will say that I'm probably going to pull the trigger on the Wilwood Big Brake kit. I weighed the wheels/tires on my bathroom scale (Obviously not too scientific) and saw 160lbs so they are obscenely heavy, and the braking system shows it. I'll definitely be replacing ball Joints etc sooner, but I knew that going in. I am definitely going to have to rob a bank because I have a shitload more money to spend. I feel like I'm modding Vette's/Vipers again!

Great looking jeep you have there.
I have the 5.5" mid arm w/40" MTR's on 17's (Load C) and the ride is really good. I am running Bilsteins on it and a max pressure of 25psi in the tires with it usually being around 22psi and the ride is great. The load range D tires you have could probably run at 20psi all day on the road while giving a much better ride, plus running 20's is making the side wall that much stiffer too. I'm not sure about the Fox shocks though, I've heard also that they stiffin things up a bit. On a side note, one of the things I love about the MTR's is they never track anything in the road, just roll right over it. The rubbing just might take a little trimming here and there, these jeeps love to be cut on a bit. Haha. Good luck figuring stuff out, very nice jeep.
