I spoke with a friend of mine who works for 4 wheel Parts corporate. He told me that the first batch that was sent from China had the wrong angle on the stinger. That is what has been cause of the delay. That was back at Christmas. They did have one in the 4 Wheel Parts in Compton on display. It looks like its decent quality for the price.

I ordered mine about two weeks ago. It was supposed to come in the 11th and it didn't so I called 4wd and they said it got pushed back to the 20th. Something tells me I'm going to call the 20th and it will be pushed back again.. I sent an e-mail to Smittybilt, but haven't received anything back yet.

I ordered one 2 weeks ago from morris 4x4 and it got put on back order...they say next week they should have some in stock. So about 2-3 weeks ill have mine on and ill post some pics.

Saw the version with winch mounted low in the bumper at the jeep fest this weekend and it looked pretty good. The version at the show was mounted on the smittybuilt jeep. Only issue I had was the version I saw had the stinger pipe but no reinforcement plates where it mates to the bumper like I've seen in some of the pics, which is definitely a must have. I am seriously thinking about getting this bumper as it looked very nice in person.

I canceled my order. Got a little frustrated for being offered something that hasn't even been made yet. It's still in R&D and won't be ready for 60-90 days.. probably longer

I know this thread has been done for a while, but I was wondering if anyone knows if the JK stinger version of this bumper will handle the Warn Power Plant winch mounted down in the bumper?
