Sometimes, less is more...DITCH THE SPARE AND SHOW YOUR BACKSIDE
Ya, I get it...always bring a spare with ya. But I actually like to see out my rear window, so I ditched the spare completely. Leaving the tailgate with the stock hardware looks messy. Show your trampstamps and modded tailgates!
Here's mine. First pic is at Discount Tire. You can see my old wheels piled up. Man my jeep looked goofy with those and a 3.5 inch lift! The second pic was when we had a recent weather break here in Indy. My dog loves going for car rides with the top open. I fashioned a leash that attaches to the rear seat frame. It's long enough for her to stick her head out the back, but she can't go much further than she is now. Got the idea from here.
I didn't want to deal with an oversized spare taking up my rear view so I ditched it and went with the Warn 3rd brake light and trampstamp. Let's see your big ole behind!

No I have a body shop there's like 16 different color variants for ps2 (billet silver) in the sikkens paint line I just mixed the most common variant as I was in a hurry to get it on. The flop on the metallic is slightly off but I wasn't going to blend the whole tail gate for a tramp stamp there's a full write up on my build thread. The guys name is justin fraizer he owns RAZR Sharp Customs in Sparta Ky he's on fb or you can pm me for his contact info. He cuts them out on a Cnc plasma cutter. Great work in a timely fashion!
