2gal each container so a total of 4... that gets me a few days water or 25 miles of travel.

Pretty sure they are 2 gallons each. I was hoping to put the water/water version on the inside of my rear gate but it's too big. I'm still thinking of mounting one there though.

you may want to keep that idea of mounting it on the gate, cause it fits really well. I have their 2 gallons storage model and smittybilt tailgear, I will take a pic at break and posted it.

I wonder if they would fit between a spare, and tailgate on some swing-out models?

I'm planning on it with my Rancho. There's a spot for a hi-lift that I won't use since I don't like my jack out in the elements.

its does take a lot of space, so I made stand off that are a like over 1" long, so I can use the space behind it. no pic with off.had short.lunch break.
