Default And so it begins

Here are a few quick pics of the start of the roof rack project. I know the welds aren't perfect but they are a damn sight better than the crap I was getting with the flux core wire. Tips/critique are appreciated as long as they aren't something along the lines of "YOU SUCK!!!!"

The whole contraption

I used a 10" Ryobi chop saw with a laser cutting guide to make the cuts on the tubing. Let me just say that the laser guide takes all of the guesswork out of cutting tubing right on the mark! If you want a REALLY good chop saw, this is the one to get!

How are you planning to mount it; through the top to the roll bars beneath, or with side bars running down the outside to the frame?
