Hidden hitch bike rack with a swagman snowboard rack. Fits into a 2" reciever and the swagman fits on the bike rack in the bike grooves.

Long Term Updates? Anyone have anything to report?

I've used mine sparingly and tomorrow am going to load it up a bit more for this year's first ski trip. I've got 68lbs of skis and luggage that's going up there. Add that to the 60 lb box and for a traditional setup that would be fine. I just really worry about the fiberglass roof gutters cracking. They seem strong, but I worry.

Anyone run anything close to the 110lb max that the box is supposed to handle?

(overall max per Thule for their rack systems is 165lbs, so 110+60 for the actual box plus bars and hardware and I guess that's the max. I've only put skis and light stuff up top. tomorrow I'll need more as I said.

Anyone have miles logged successfully that they can post to make me feel better?

So I'd be fine running the Thule Gutter Pack, plus the Universal Flat Top holder? On Thule's site it comes out to around 399$. Are there any places I can order it cheaper?

This is for my 2dr 2011 Hardtop Wrangler.

Thanks guys!

Try orsracksdirect. I ordered my Yakima hitchski snowboard rack And Yakima hitch receiver bike rack from them. They had the lowest prices and free shipping for two huge boxes. I always shop around the net for lowest prices and they were beating eBay, amazon, etc.

I'm confused on how the gutter racks are put on? and what's everything I'll need for my 2 door? I would hate to order stuff and accidentally forget to have something ordered!

Here's a cell phone pic from over the winter. It's the Thule Gutter rack. Check out the Thule website to see wahat you need. You can put in your vehicle make and model and they'll tell you what you need. Then shop around for better pricing.

Click on fit guide and select Jeep Wrangler. Only the 2 Dr selection comes up, but its the same parts for the gutter rack system.
