The rack mounted to the existing drip rails on the factory hard top. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the freedom panels creaked when rock crawling with the rack on. Regardless, the rack goes on and off quickly.

I just bought my Yakima last Friday. I already had the Powderhound Ski/Snowboard holder from an old vehicle but I needed everything else, 58" bars, rain gutter system (1a) etc etc. It cost me 300 dollars including installation from Rack Attack in Boston

Remember, you're not supposed to connect gutter rack feet to freedom panels, just to the main roof over the rear door. That's why you're getting creaking.

U sure a our that? Because rack attack installed them for me, figured that would be something they would know...I do hae creaking but my freedom panels have creek like a bitch since the first day I ever got my Jeep so that's nothing new

What size foot pack ? Do you ski or snowboard ? I snowboard I bought everything but the foot pack due to not knowing what size I should go with ?? If you have 4 boards on the thule 91725U two will be upside down will it touch the hard top with the 5" ??
