A friend is a member of a camp (Robinwood) about 40 minutes west of Lake Placid - tons of old logging roads and many trails...when we were a few weeks ago Placid got about 22 inches of snow in one day (hence it was time to get out in the Jeep an play)...

Damn, I wish I knew. Are these public trails? Is there a map of them? Would love to hit them up the next time I'm up there.

Mt.Washington , Vancouver Island. Blizzard that night with land rovers and dodge trucks stuck all over the mountain, and us pulling boarders with ropes behind the jeeps!
