Side by side tire pics
Ok, here it goes. I am going to be ordering tires through the mail and everything I have read says sizes are off from what the claim. There are not any modded jeeps where I am so I can't go look at someone else's. I will be installing a 2.5" lift and I want to run one of the following tires, I'm just not sure which ones. I have searched for some side by side tire pics to try and determine the size difference between the stock 255s and 285/75r17 BFG KM2 and also stock 255s and 315/70r17 and have not found any. I am also open to any other side by side pics you may have. Please put make and sizes in your reply.

I don't know if you know how to read the metric sizes or not? The first number (ie 255) is the width of the tires in mm's. The second number is the percentage of that width that gives you the sidewall height (ie 70...255x.70= 178.50 mm). I know each brand of tire fluctuates slightly but most are going to be pretty close to the listed size until put under a load.
