I'm thinking of getting this item because I need a safe out of the way place for my Cobra 29 LTD BT CB radio. The overhead console will not work for me.

I would like to see who has this set up in their JK.

My only worry is (beside the price) is that I will have the Mopar full rubber liner installed in my JK in the next few days.

they look awesome and are rock solid... but cost more than anything i would be securing in my jeep... so no point to me... if my center console gets torn up in time, i may replace it with one.

Yeah, the price is high, but I'm out of options. I currently run with my CB on top of the radio, but once I get my Kenwood receiver installed I'll be putting a tuffy stereo security cover which takes up the spot where my CB sits. I also need some added security for my CB since I will be installing a soft trek top soon as well.

Whats a guy to do
