Default Show your pintlers (silver jeeps only)

SERIOUSLY having issues debating what wheels to get for some 33's. Pintlers are near the top of my list but at the high end of my budget.

I'd love to see some pintlers (any color) on SILVER JK's to make or break my mind....ready....go!!!

I can't help you pick your color, but definitely go with the Pintlers I put the Argent on my Mango and they are the best thing I've done to my JKU yet!! It's only money and you won't benefit by having extra when you die.

it's actually Greystone which was a short-lived '07 color...but you can get a pretty good idea here.

and now I have the AEV black center caps on as all the yellow AEV stickers eventually peeled off. The black caps are molded, no stickers...

Default Pintler Question

I too love the look of the gray pintlers. My question is how will the stock 255-75-17 Goodyear SR-A tires look mounted on them? Its my understanding the factory wheel is 7.5 inch wheel and the pintlers are an 8.5 inch well. Will the wider wheel make me loose tire height? I have a 2012 Unlimited with only 500 miles on it and the front leveling kit only. Can't swing new tires right now so got to go with the original ones.

Just joined forum and first post so thanks for any help.

Yes, you will lose a little bit of height, but honestly (personal opinion here) I don't think it will be that drastic. And again, personal preference....255/75R17's might look a bit small, but not absurd. But hey, do what you want! It is YOUR Jeep afterall!

BTW, welcome to the forum!

These are some really nice looking Jeeps! Anyone have silver pintlers? Not sure if that's too much silver for me or not!
