Glad I could help

I like to disconnect the battery every now and then to reset the trip computer so I can act like I'm getting 20mpg (at least for a few miles ).

I like to reset that thing when I fill up. Then gun it to see how low it will go. Mine seems to stay around 21.5 not very accurate.

Mostly stock 2009 Sahara 4 dr. Seems like 14 to 15 around town but easily over 20 on the highway if I keep it under 75mph. Winter is better if I do not run the a/c.

yea dont get it twisted, i get 15-16 on a regular but that was my record high, not sure how the MPG works, seems to swing around quite a bit, have had it as low as 12, but that was up snowboarding with engine running for 30 minutes while smoking NUBS & drinking cold one inbetween runs. I would expect large swings at first but got little over 10k miles and think it would level out but it goes from 14-18 on one tank of gas?...

Just did about 3250 miles last week in the JK (to Colorado and back). The average for the highway portions of the trip (2734 miles) was 19.55mpg. I had five tankfuls over 20mpg, with the highest being 21.63. THis is all hand calculated, included traveling 70-80 mph most of the way, with a couple hundred pounds of gear in the Jeep.
