Show your EBAY goodies
What have you guys bought off Ebay. I always see some good stuff for dirt cheap. But am too hesitant to buy it on Ebay. If you had any good finds please post some pics. Thanx, wing79

I got the Rugged Ridge mirror relocation kit off of ebay. They were a bad batch and did not fit and the retailer would not take them back and Rugged Ridge would not exchange them either. The are still sitting in the box in the garage. I'll try to get a picture.

There are still a few bargains to be had on eBay, but the scum that snap up rebated items and commit mail fraud to resell them on eBay have pretty much taken over the place.
I picked up my (now replaced with LōD sliders) stainless nerf bars off eBay for $25, my (now replaced by RC 2.5 coil lift w/ 2.2 shocks) Daystar pucks at $40 per axle, and my "Jeep" fender stickers from seller powercall. I'm sure I've forgotten a couple other things.
The only real way to catch a bargain on eBay anymore is to bide your time. Sometimes, good deals pop up and nobody else snags them.
I have a rather large collection of vintage (pre-1969) Purdue items that were acquired on eBay.

$90 for some Pro-Comp 4" springs, that's shipped.
$100 for a Gibson exhaust, shipped.
I find deals constantly on eBay, not just for the Jeep. They aren't as easy to find any more but they're there. I've been buying and selling on eBay for close to ten years now and have made and saved quite a bit of cash.

I bought my first chrome fire extiquister at an auto parts store for $60.00 "closeout price"
I found the other one on EBAY. My winning bid was $20.00 shipped. Now whether it will work when I need it might be another story.
I have also bought some hat pins for my Jeep and Porsche that I have not found anywhere else.

I bought the incorrect mygig off ebay for $300. The guy wouldn't take it back. I listed it on ebay and had a guy about 5 miles away ask me to end the auction and sell it out right. He paid $350 for it and I cancelled the auction.

I bought 5 Pro Comp Extreme rims with 5 Dick Cepek 33" Crushers mounted on them for $1300. 4 of the tires had 1000 miles on them with the spare never seeing the road. They also came with 4 sets of locking lug nuts.
The tires along would have costed me $1300.
I also purchased a MyGIG and my 3" Zone lift on Ebay.

As with any auction, there is good and bad. I scan ebay every so often, and I have come up with good deals. You just have to know it's a good deal, and when to stop bidding keeping it a good deal.
As far as my list:
2" Rusty's BB with shocks, Skyjacker rear sway bar bracket, TJ spare tire extension (which I resold on eBay) = $75.00 +shipping
Skyjacker 3/4" leveling puck = $10.00 + shipping
Guage cover (yellow) = $22 with shipping. Man these look cool.
Rear plate bolts with LEDs = $9.98 a pair. Now I have to figure where to move my plate.
Windshield lights = $24.00
