Need advice/options.
I am currently looking at Jeeps to purchase one.
My goals are 4 in lift, nitto trail grapplers, and XD775 rockstars.
I'm curious to know how it would look with 33 nittos and 17 in rockstars, would it look proportional or should I go with 35 nittos and 17 in rockstars.
I really don't want to go bigger than a 17 ddue to cost.
Thanks in advance.

(The following is a basic guide that may not apply to everyone)
You can fit ______:
33s with no lift
35s with 1-2.5 in. of lift
37s with 2.5-4 in. of lift
40s with 4-6 in. of lift
Know that all of these will mostly likely require some trimming here and there to eliminate tires rubbing on body parts, suspension components etc.
A standard 4 inch lift with 33s will probably look pretty goofy. Most would people here will tell you to get 35s (I would as well). Although there are still many people who are perfectly happy with their 33s. A lot depends on if your rig will see dirt, what type of terrain you may possibly go on and what look you are going for. There are plenty of threads on here showing many different lift sizes paired with a lot of different tire styles and diameters. If you want to go with 35s I'd recommend a 2.5-3.5 inch lift. Just my 2 cents. I hope this all answers your questions and makes at least a little since to you. Do some research and you'll be surprised how much you can find!

First off, welcome to the forum. You will find lots of very useful information here! I will say this once just to get it out of the way; the search feature is your best friend!! Use it as much as you want. To answer your question here is the basic "rule of thumb."

That did help! I'm really wanting the 4 in suspension lift because I like the height. I'm not planning on taking it out in the mountain/rocky terrain. Yes it will definitely see mud at times.
I'm real curious to know/see the proportionality of the 4 in lift with 33 in nittos with 17 in rockstars or 35 in nittos with 17 in rockstars. I'm new to all this so pics could help alot!
Thanks!
