I've been a fan of the black look for a while..
Got these on my old TJ:







Question is:

I've got the 17" Rubicon wheels now, which are nice, but of all the OE wheels that were painted of powdercoated in this thread,
I didnt see one instance of going black on the Rubicon rims...almost always the 18" Sahara rims.

Is it blasphemy to powdercoat the "treasured" OE Rubicon wheel?

But I'm leaning towards the AEV "Pinter" in Argent anyways....

It may be because you can probably sell the rubicon rims and tires for a good return, allowing you to get new wheels at around the same cost as painting the stock rims and buying spacers.
