Those fenders are Bushwacker pocket flares. Many enthusiasts are not a fan of them due to their big and bulky look.. They are about 2" wider than the stock fenders. I have them on my rig and love them! Everyone compliments them as well! One of the main reason I got them was to pass Massachusetts visual inspection. The wheels cannot exceed the fenders up here in MA. I had factory flares that were cut to flat flares prior. Check her out..

I love this look as well!! I have been eyeing those Bushwacker pocket flares since I got my jeep a few months ago..but being new to jeeps I was wondering what the difference was between the pocket flares and flat fenders? I would think the flat fenders would give you more clearance when off roading...so what is the benefit of the pocket flares? Or is it all just a style/look thing?
