They are just getting finished this afternoon. The week they were supposed to be chemically stripped, the chemical stripping tank was being drained, cleaned, and replenished. I lost about a week to that process, dang it.

Here's a quick shot of one fairly fresh out of the oven about 1 hour ago...

They're a charcoal metallic. In full sun (as shown here) they are about the color of dark pewter, where the sun is direct, and dark charcoal in the recesses. At night they'll probably look closer to black with some glint.

Should have them all back on the Jeep tomorrow afternoon... can't wait!

Redrock... good question! I haven't decided yet what I will do with the lug nuts and the center caps. I'm going to install tomorrow with the stock center caps and lug nuts and just see how it looks. If I like it, I'll leave them alone. If not, I'll replace the lug nuts. If the center cap needs to blend, perhaps I'll paint them... what have others done in similar situations with the center caps? Just paint 'em?

When you install them and get a fix please post pics-I am about to buy new tires and want to powder coat the wheels so please post to show how the center caps match up

Also as for the lugs - sometimes the chrome lugs look great and break up the black tire and charcoal-if you don't like it there is always black lugs....

I think those would look great with no center cap at all. If it can't match exact leave it off. What tires are you using?

As far as the lug nuts.. that's a tricky one. The silver might go great with the sparkle. Black lug nuts are sweet, but as with the center cap, if they don't match then skip.

Just my humble opinion.. our JK's look best when they are sporting a utilitarian look.. the less we try to match things up and the less expensive the add-on's APPEAR, the better the JK looks. But that's just me.

Oh, awesome dog!! What's it's name?
