You should have put sticky weights on inside of rim so you cant see them.

The tires are 35x12.5. The shop lined the wheels without the tires mounted. The reason for the "silver lip" was because the tech was concerned that when he mounted the tires it may remove some of the finish. So, he masked it and called himself making the wheel look "custom" but told me if I didnt like it that he would find a way to cover it also. As it turned out, I loved the way it looked with the contrast of the liner against the stock finish of the "lip", lug nuts, and center cap. He charged me $100 to mount and balance tires and do the spray liner.

I read comments on the forum about some being concerned with the long term finish quality..as far as fading and mud staining. He told me that he has lined quite a few wheels and other unique applications and his recommendation is to use a product called Turtle Wax N21. It is very similar to Armor All and Black Magik except that it dont attract dirt and dust while keeping the finish UV protected and "rich black". Id definitely recommend those considering using liner on the wheels to go for it.
