Technically, this is off of stock. Trimmed the frame back at an angle then welded plates. Now it's a True High Clearence bumper that still passes inspection :-)

Did the VDP full width this spring...good temporary solution until I can buy/need an entire bumper.

any concern of crash protection? How far past the "bumper" do the tires protrude? I do like the look, but it almost looks like a moot point being chopped to almost nothing?

Closest pics I have of my bumper. Just cut down the stock plate, d-ring shackled it. Gonna do what D-Matt did and close up the ends and fog holes and put some D2's in there.

What did you use to cut the bumper with? That is a clean install, I want to do the same, and the best part, my MBRP bar will still work, as will my two sets of lights.
