Closures i made to cover the gap between the fender liner and the fender. Used the pieces i cut off the flares to close the gap and clean up the look.

Here are the pics of my custom made sound absorbtion panels:

I'm having the center and rear made up this month for the rest of the hard top. I wanted to do this to imporve the phone calling quality, but a friend recently said audiophiles would want stuff like this. I guess we'll see how it works out once the rest is installed.

Here's my Uconnect mic mounted in the roll bar next to my head (HUGE improvement!):

Oh, and lest I forget, my custom Hi-Lift mount. I bought C-clamps intended for HD applications like roof antennas or sign posts and mounted the jack on my bull bar. Works like a charm and is MUCH less costly than other commercially available options. I think I spent under $30 in hardware total with shipping:

From a company in California, Lil Seats. They have done testing on them for safety reasons, they pass the requirements for on road use. You can get them side facing like mine, or both side and rear facing (kid would be looking out the rear). They flip up. You can mount two of them either rear or side facing. The seat has that plate that you can see in my pic, that bolts down through the tub underneath, into a mounting bracket of some heavy, strong steal. You have to cut the cover to the storage bin in order for it to work, I snipped the corner until it would open like stock. Takes about an hour to install, comes with a template and decent install instructions, there are several threads on here about it, I will post the one I used for the install that helped me out a lot. The fabric matched the other seats perfectly. They build the seat when you order it, so it takes a couple of weeks, their customer service is great. I store stuff behind the seat for my work. I can fit my freedom tops between the seat and the rear seat, standing up, and my kids can still sit in the seat. Limits their vision toward the front, but they can still see and sit relatively comfortably. The seat cushion is ok, we have gone on 2 hour trips, without any complaints, more cushion than a booster seat.

Regarding rear end collision, which is mentioned/critized a lot with these seats and what "could" happen, with the seat installed, there is .5" to 1" less distance between the rear door and the seat than a 2 door. I have not problem with my educated decision.

You can also get a bench seat, but you lose a lot more of your cargo room.

The thread I used to help me with install, nice write up.

I dont know if it is actually possible or not, but I wond what it would look like if you cut out the excess red metal on the inside of the fenders. Anyone have photoshop here?
