[QUOTE=09jaykay;1410361]I just taped them off. took a while to tape off and cover with newspaper to avoid overspray, but they turned out really good. I roughed them up with some steel wool after taping them off. Then I just sprayed them with a gloss black followed by a clear coat.

American Flag decals
blacked out hinges
Lumbar Support
homemade radio mount with zip-ties! and PA
Stubbie Antenna
Homemade Hi-Lift Jack bumper (last night)
I'm headed to Big Bend tomorrow at 5am, so maybe I'll get some shots that are cooler than my driveway!

I LOVE this thread!
I did copy one of the members idea of doing the foam roofing insulation, cover with felt for the headliner. Works fantastic and cheap!
I herculined the hardtop, removed the third 'eye' brake light and installed a LED light that is a turn signal, running lights, brake light and flasher.
I also installed a row of lights under the bar of my congo cage.

Ok, against my better judgement and humility,
Here is a ridiculous list of (some of) my more original mods.....
custom trail rated emblem
Custom painted hardtop (in production)
The Lowes door threshhold bumper
Homemade Hi lift mount
The Original QuadLight front bumper
Antenna relocation with pillar holders
3rd brake light flip job
Hood stripes and Shark fins on the AEV hood
Custom handle on the LOD rear
the original PVC/ABS snorkel
the new revamped Snorkskull
with optional intakes
Also...shown throughout, in various pics...
400 polka dots
6lug Black Magnus Wheels
Many other self mods that are slightly less unique, but still tons of fun.
If I remember and more ones I really like, Ill post them.
Will also post the shark intake for the snorkel later this week.
