I used brake cleaner for all my stickers with no problems. Ive been told by a few people on here that it will remove the paint though, so maybe only use it as a last resort? Didn't take my paint off but try other methods first

When using goo gone, wash the area with soap and water immediately and it should be fine on the paint

For cleaning under the sticker before putting it on do you clean it with rubbing alcohol or something?

I always wipe with rubbing alcohol before installing a sticker.

Strip the wax off of the jeep with Dawn. I did use rubbing alcohol afterwards but that might have been overkill.
