Actually its no matter what it is its supposed to face a certain way the blue area is always forward... IE army wears the flag on right arm with the blue fwd...doesnt have to be a vehicle...

Yup. Just like vehicles, people move forward, too.

This is from AR 670-1, regarding the wearing of the U.S. Flag on the right shoulder:
"...the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the
wearer moves forward."

I'm just happy they're sporting the flag on one of their most loved possessions....says a lot to me with or without the regulations.
