I think I want to get the RK 3.5" Long Arm Stretch. I drive a ton on caliche ranch roads in South Texas and I don't like to slow down for the bad spots. I drive about 2,500 miles/month highway and plan to do offroading trips around Austin such as Hiden Falls. I will also be getting MetalCloak Overland fenders and front bumper, LOD Sliders, LOD Rear is most likely but maybe another rear, PR 44's(maybe 60's). I want to run 38-13.50-18 Toyo MT's .

Can someone confirm that this is the RK lift I want on my 2013 2 door and if not which one and why? Also I can only find a good dealer who sales RK around Austin and having no luck finding an installer + dealer shop.

thanks in advance,
Lusky

I understand your concern with wanting a long arm for your 2 door. I would say go for it if money is not an object. If money is an object, I would go with a max travel 3.5 if you are going to run 38's. the 3.5 will allow for 40's with proper bump stops and flat flares to avoid rubbing. I'm currently running the 2.5 max travel on my 2 door and the lift flexes like crazy and is way better than stock or my prior lift ride quality (I'm running Bilstein 5100's). I went with the 2.5 over the 3.5 bc I do not want to go over 37's with my 2 door. The 2.5 netted about 4" of lift for me (i got about 5" total in the front bc i added a teraflex1" spacer to remove the rake and compensate for my winch and front bumper). From what I've researched and seen, the 3.5 will only net about .5 to .75 over the 2.5 lift.

I talked to Marcus first, he only sells, does not install and really could not reccomend someone from personal experience, any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Lusky

My buddy is in San Antonio. I'll ask him where he had his jeep done. I remember him telling me he had everything done by a jeep shop in the area and also bought his stuff from them.

4 Wheel Parts in San Antonio did mine, Jeff and Johnny took good care of me and installed the C Gussetts for me for just under $500. Another option is Off Road Ready in Helotes.

RK guys, I need some help (Posted a seperate thread and not many responses). I am pulling the trigger on the 5.5 Mid Arm. I am up in the air over the Fox 2.0 Remote Res (Below) and the RK RRD's. I called RK and suprisingly they didnt steer me either which way (They have elite levels of cusotmer service in my opinion). Is anyone running either of these two shocks?

Not sure about the RK shocks, but I know the Fox are great shocks. They probably didn't have an opinion because they feel they are both comparable.
