It was so easy, a cavewoman could do it.... My plastic ring broke way before I found the boot and the alum ring. But, was well worth the mod. Took every bit of 15 minutes to do.

Well, this also looks like a great way for the guy that has a body lift and a 6 speed. I have never liked the cut boot thing. I cruised the site and did not get any bad feelings...they even had a JK with an EVO SBS plug as the sample photo. Also, good feedback on a FB page. I just ordered one. I'm having it shipped to my APO so I'll report back on the quality soon.
Edit: I just received my shifter boot. It appears to be high quality leather and very good attention to detail. I got black leather with quad yellow stitching (matches my jeep). It appears to be the perfect fix for a 6spd with a body lift.
It was shipped out of Poland to the states and then over to me by APO. When I get home on R&R in June she will be going on.
Edit to the edit: In between when I orginally wrote the edit and now. I ran the 8,000miles back to Wyoming, installed the boot, dyno'ed it. I got 5, count them 1,2,3,4,5 more BHP at the WHEELS..... worth evey penny. Oh ya', I'm updating this post back at work. Did not have time to on my rush trip home.
