I'll post a pic tomorrow of how I ground down the lever. Theres a plastic rod on the jk shifter that has to get pushed down to shift, but it also has to be released to remove ignition key. The grenade has set screws at the bottom I just had to adjust the height of the knob to get it to work both ways. I filed a little off the rod to get it to slide better and a dab of lithium grease. So far its been a month and it has stayed adjusted, I was worried if it loosened it wouldn't work. Fail safe is I can pull the grenade pin and access the the rod.

drilled it out just a tad smaller than the shaft, and just pushed really hard.

Here's the lever taken out , you.can see how I had to grind it to a wedge shape, got to get the throw just right as so it activates and deactivates the lock for the shifter.
