Hey rubicon09 is my wind deflector installed correct? I think it looks like yours but on the web I see different.

I don't have that rubber part at the bottom of the wind deflector nor those side straps pictured above

Mos11B, yeah your deflector is not installed correctly. The deflector should be angled at almost the same rake of the windshield. The bottom edge of the deflector has a round like padding running the length of the deflector. That should actually sit or rest on the upper edge of your windshield. So, again, the bottom of the deflector should be facing forward (towards the hood) I can send a pic of mine if you need it.
By the way, you work at Motorola?

Btw i was looking at the pdf on gobis website on how to install the wind deflector and from what i remember from my directions its totally different. Look at this guys wind deflector did he do it wrong too?

The new gobi's are different. Mine doesn't have the rubber or the side straps either. And the directions I had do not show the rubber and actually show the deflector sitting an inch off the glass but at the same angle as the glass.

I have the wild boar rack. I like it alot. Gets all my stuff to the campsite. Plus i can put the soft top on with no problems.
