I think it was well worth the $80 considering these racks are quite expensive new. My dad want's to go hunting with the Jeep now...he say's I could probably put a whole Bull Moose up there.
Wow what an amazing deal on your Wild Boar. Wonder how the salesman felt when he sobered up LOL!

I guess I'll chime in... GOBI STEALTH rack pruchased from David at Northridge 4x4.
The rack and basket are all one piece. It's not you typical rack that has cross bars and a basket attached to it. These racks are in my opinion the "best" you can buy! Save you money...$1500! BUT WELL WORTH IT!

X2 on that. I love my Gobi rack. It is incredibly solid. Definitely worth the money if you need a rack.

The top pivots back & the ladder pivots with it. You can only pivot back a certain amount though because the license plate blocks the pivot arm from swinging back all the way to the ground. If tightened enough, the bushings tend to keep the rack in place when you position it in the air so you can remove the top. Or i swing open my tire carrier and rest part of the rack on the spare to keep it up. Also, I rarely use the ladder. I tend to stand on the tire and put stuff up there that way rather than climb the ladder. But it looks cool and sort of completes the look of the rack.

That bad boy looks mean. I do like the thick 2" tubes and I kinda miss that about my MBRP. The Gobi is just more practical for me. But I really like the look of your Jeep.
