Always wondered, can you get into a standard garage with the rack on or do you have to take it off?
Thanks. I don't have a garage personally...wish I did. My dad has a standard garage and I do believe the Jeep fits in with the rack on, but probably not after I put a High-Lift jack on the back.

I gotta say that the roof racks make all of your rigs looks super ballsy. I would love to get a rack but I guess the question I have is whether it would just make me look like a poser. I think so. I do offroading with my club about once a month but rarely do we overnight. Only once or twice a season at a campground and I can fit my gear into the back of the JK for that. I feel like I'd be pretending to be Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler from "Wild Kingdom" as if I were going to be doing a safari in Africa, when I just use the rig for a little fun. I envy you guys who really get into the outdoors doing the "overlander"/expedition thing. Thanks for posting all the kick ass pics.

I wouldn't worry about it... I used my roof rack to load up camping gear last year, but never even been on any real "expeditions". When I bought the Jeep from the dealership, they said they had a Wild Boar rack to go with it that they just had lying out back, but it was in perfect like-new condition. They said I could have the rack for free, (I just couldn't refuse that offer) so I ended up just paying them $80 to install it on my Jeep. I think it was well worth the $80 considering these racks are quite expensive new. My dad want's to go hunting with the Jeep now...he say's I could probably put a whole Bull Moose up there.

The Wild Boar rack that I have I think sells for somewhere in the $1200-$1300 range, but were you talking about the the photos posted by BIG JOHN?
