That's what I was afraid of. I really hate the idea of drilling holes in my top and I really didn't want to spend the $1200-$1500 on a bolt on. But it looks like I'm out of options.

Has anyone seen tubular rails for the JK hardtop? Saw them on a local JKU. Looked almost factory. I will post pics if I can find them.

What exactly do you mean by "met" an 18 wheeler? Was there physical contact? I'd hate to think that wind turbulence could cause that.

For those with the Kargo Master could you give me the dimension of the space between the rails that run front to back?
