Not sure if this is what you're asking, but the AEV rims have 4.5" backspacing, which provides room to prevent rubbing when running larger tires. If by "arches" you mean the fender flares, then the coverage really depends on the tire size and width. With my 35" KM2's and the AEV 4.5" of backspace, I run a little wider than the flares, but they don't stick out very far.
