You'd be surprised, went on an outing with another member on here that had the stock sahara tires. We went through some really nasty stuff all day and they only got stuck once. Just wear some boots and go with someone who can pull you out if you get stuck.

I hate mud! We had some bad stuff on our way into the Briggs cabin in DV.
