Here is my chop I did last year. Got a little aesthetic with the alum. tabs and lag bolts - but thought it gave it an industrial look. Used silicone caulk and flat black spay paint to try to get that 'welded' look.

i guess that's what i get for not having any recovery points. but i'm glad it was just the bumper. the guys that came to pull me out were going to try to pull me out by my tie rod! but i'm thankful for the help and glad they got me out.
