Back up there @ post #8... looks like you could take that bracket design, flip it around and weld it on the backside of a length of C channel (rear bumper) and you've got your bracket to bolt on the rear frame. The stock bumper mounts are along the sides of the frame not on the end like the front. hmmm got the gears turning now

Just glad to help.

When I start building my back bumper I will take pics and post them. I don't know when I will get started on that build.

Yeah, I've actually been thinking of making a rear bumper out of a heavy gauge C channel in either 6" or 8" widths, for a few weeks now. I was thinking of just welding up a few short pieces on the ends of a long piece, making something that slightly resembles the lines of the stock bumper, just a bit narrower and more angular. I like the lines on that first one. Something similar would look pretty good out back.

And that plate & gusset bracket would make for a strong mount.

Im going to bump this, since I would like to see more ideas, particularly for the rear, as I got 12' of 3/8" 6x2 c-channel steel for free today.

Thats the plan... I just need to design and find someone to weld my rear, since its not nearly as simple as the front.

Here's a couple of pictures of my front:
Still needs to be Duralinered
A guy I work with is also a fabricator. He did a much better job than I could have ever hoped to do.
Please post whatever you figure out for a rear.

Please pop the back bumper off and take a few pictures of your bracket design
