Can't see your rubber bushings, so forgive me if you already know this... There are two hinged thingies that flip out at the back of the freedom panels. Those keep the panels snug without the screws poking through.

I rolled like that all the time before I had a soft top.

thanks...no one ever told me...and i just got the hardtop recently.

yep those black things are only used when panels are used without the back portion

re-read the PM I sent you about the hardtop. I told you about it, but it was before you got the top. I imagine it was impossible to visualize what I tried to describe.

No worries. I showed up at my first trail ride in a JK back in 2006 with my own home made rubber bushings when someone pointed it out to me.
