Default Scuffed my Aluminum Wheels...

I thought I'd try something today that I've been thinking about doing...I've been getting tired of having to constantly polish these wheels to keep them looking good, and I've also been wanting a different look. So, I bought some paint stripping pads and scuffed them up for more of a "machined" look....tell me what you think!

Not a HUGE difference, I know...but it's subtle and so far I like it...

They look neat. Now you have to find a way to address the centercaps.

Thanks...the next time I take the wheels off the Jeep I'll do the center part of the wheel...as for the center cap, I don't think there's much that can be done there...it's ok though, that part I can deal with. It's the polishing and buffing every other week for 2 hours that I'm sick of!

I want to get some black Cragars so bad I can't see straight, either Soft 8 or D-Window I can't decide...but it's gotta wait, we're in the process of buying a house so all the extra cash is going to that...

You know, one winter in the salt and they would look like that with no elbow grease.

Hey, it's easier with a scuff pad than it is with a polish rag. Looks good.
