yeah that was also my concern... i had it covered with mud and salt from when it snowed... i took it to the car wash and it sprayed off completely without leaveing and scratches or marks.. it is alittle different than a reg gloss paint job.does scratch alittle easier but not bad...and you cant buff or really wax it (or it will become glossy) .. but seems to clean up nicely.. it dose have a mat clearcoat..to help protect it. their seems to be many different ways of doing the mat/satin paint job .. but to me the DuPont hot hues seemed to be the best for long term... but the paint wasn't the cheapest.

Thanks for the answer, I'm debating doing something like this in the future.

That's the answer to it cleaning up so well right there. I would think the mat clear coat would be a must....

yeah you really have to use some kind of satin/flat clear coat.. otherwise it will get chalky looking over time, scratch very easy and stain.. a mat/satin finish just takes alittle more care , but i really love the look. their are alote of cheap mat/satin finishes out their.. but i think its better to spend alittle more so it holds up.
I'm really glad everyone seems to like it.

I think after abusing a factory paint job for a few years I would consider gonig down this road, but not untill then. Not to say that I don't like it because I do, it's just that I would really need a new paintjob before I went this route. Looks good though.
