Quite a few other slider out there use the same setup, just not nessacarily welded.

Thanks, I just wasnt sure if it would add any extra vibrations or anything. Usually stuff mounted to the frame and body are isolated with some type of rubber bushing

I thought about that too, but after a little research last week the awnser was it'd be fine and having driven it today it's no different than before

i was thinking of doing something like that but instead of the weld to frame just big bolts etc. so it could be removed

I've heard people say not to do that, but I had a Scrambler that we did it to and had no problems.

a lot of people would tell you not to weld to the frame, but I've done it several times in different vehicles with no problem.
