I love my Sahara. I have always wanted a Jeep and finally have one and couldn't be happier. I have two young children and need to have a car that fits my family. A modded Rubicon wouldn't be practical for me at this point in my life but a nice Sahara Unlimited is perfect. I get to have my Jeep and my wife is happy (so is my two year old daughter).
Chances are that it will stay mostly stock for a while. If I get to the point where having a modded Jeep make sense, I might consider trading it for a Rubicon or Sport or swapping my wife's car for one and giving her the Sahara. Until then, I will enjoy driving it everyday and twice on summer days with the top down.

Odin43, when you get ready for new tires you can get smaller rim size and nice all terrain tire for about the same price as the 18" tires and wider stance makes a world of difference.

Judging by the picture in your avatar, I would have to agree. Looks great, are those 33s?

Here is our 2011 Sahara. The day we got her, our first off road trip to Red Rock outside of Vegas. And my first two mods. JK decals. I got permission from the project-jk guys to have the Iceland decal made. Everything else is stock. Waiting on paying off my truck before doing anything major. I have a whole list of ideas and this forum us adding ideas to it. Thanks to everyone that posts on here with guides and ideas and step by step instruction. Also all the advertising supporters that put on some awesome deals.
