Sahara Chopped painted fenders - quick write up
Not a lot of Sahara painted chopped fenders but here is mine. I can do a detail write up if needed since I did take step by step pics but pretty simple process.
Here is my quick write up process
First off I left the fenders on. Took out the back liners completelty and cut the front liners with a dremel for fender support. They do not flap in the wind as some have thought or stated. I then just put door trim from any auto parts store. Make sure you get the spool trim and not the cut off section door trim. I then sprayed duraliner underneath to add protection and a nice black look since the silver stock paint wells were showing since I removed the back wheel liners. I used masking tape/newspaper to cover shocks etc etc. It has been a few months and it still looks great and holding up well with the duraliner sprayed directly to frame and paint I have the RC 3.25 lift and I think I can fit 37s with no problem now
